Norma Range Training ammunition is perfect for endless shooting fun at the range or the field. With a frangible bullet the rounds become a lot less messy than their center fire counterparts. This is because the frangible projectile melts at a hotter temperature and shatters the ice crystals that form on impact, which is why you see such a dramatic drop in recoil. Also, the warmer the temperature of the bullet the greater the sows energy. For this reason Norma chose a lighter weight bullet for their range training rounds. In a match grade cartridge like .40 S&W a frangible bullet is required. The 40 S&W has often been called the social media platform for the revolver world. You can find a ton of great articles and videos on our FB page dedicated to our range training round. The community quickly embraced the frangible round as well and it became a popular choice amongst club shooters and instructors. You can find it at just about any Norma ammo page.
