The .22 E-Tip bullet provides the same stopping power and peerless penetration as Nosler's popular lead-core bullets, while offering one-shot loading and extreme long-range performance from a bottleneck-type bullet. The bullet's boat-tail design and the Energy Expansion Cavity provide the core with the copper alloy base which supports controlled expansion over the full velocity range of the 22 LR. Upon impact, the E Cavity provides immediate and uniform expansion yet retains 95% weight for improved penetration. The E Cavity provides amazing stopping power and peerless penetration over a broad spectrum of impact velocities, rivaling even the highest quality lead-core bullets. Nosler's exclusive .22 E-Tip bullets have the same boat-tail configuration and streamlined polymer tip that initiate expansion while delivering peerless penetration and weight retention. The all-new E-Tip is loaded in Nosler Smart Tip nickel-plated cases. Each round is inspected and re-indexed for accuracy. Assembled from Nosler's proprietary Brass Case-Foam that is made without anti-corrosion, moisture resistant material, the E-Tip bullets are made to function in Nosler's original two-piece design.
