Nosler bonded performance means one thing: Bonded-bond jacketed hard points. These rounds utilize a jacketed hard lead core with a hard metal jacket. The Bonded compound bonding process we use in the development of these bullets ensures uniform expansion and extreme weight retention at the impact site. Nosler .40 S&W ammo also features an exclusive hollow point cavity. This cavity allows the projectile to be seated and honed to just the right degree of accuracy. Nosler .40 S&W bonded brass is just as accurate as Nosler single fed ammo, but the bullets are bonded together so that overall expansion and weight retention are more consistent. Nosler .40 S&W bonded ammo is loaded with Nosler .40 S&W brass and Nosler proprietary bullets. This patented process gives these Nosler bullets even greater stability since the jacket and lead core are bonded together. In addition the two cavities also allow for greater weight uniformity ensuring that the projectiles hold together better at the impact site.
