Nosler Defense .45 ACP 230gr Bonded-Tipped Ammo is Nosler's highest volume handgun ammunition offering, and is loaded with Nosler's Nosler Pro-Hat bonded bullet. The Bonded line of Nosler Ammunition features a lead alloy core with a copper jacket, producing accurate, self-sealing performance. Nosler Ammunition's bonding process welds the copper jacket and the bonding powder creating a much stronger case body than conventional brass-cased ammo. The overall dimensions of the round are the same as conventional .45 ACP, and they have a muzzle velocity of 950 feet per second or thereabouts. The expansion resulting from the bonding process ensures a deeper penetration, uniform expansion, and the ultimate Nosler Hunting Group Expansion.
