The Model LF 1100+ conductivity meter was designed to measure conductivity in metal and non-metal conductive liquids. The Model UF-1100+ has an electrode array similar to that of the electrodes found on most conductivity meters. The electrode array consists of a silver-oxide electrode with four gold-plated stainless steel wires which provide high sensitivity, selectivity, and selectivity for both metal and non-metal conductive liquids. The Type K electrodes are inserted into the ferrite bead around a silver wire that is wound around a steel core wire. The electrodes are silver-plated, and the body of the cell is composed of an alloy of nickel, tungsten, and carbon (nitride) metals. Due to the extreme sensitivity of this cell, it should not be used for metals except in metals where the electrodes will provide sufficient current to balance the electrodes.
