The resist.thermometer probes are used for process temperature measurements where a high degree of accuracy is not required and where manual temperature compensation is not required. The type of material injected into the process typically ranges between glass and stainless steel. The probes are assembled from a hermetically sealed steel alloy that resists corrosion and wear. The cable assemblies are silver aluminum with an electro-polished stainless steel wire gate connector. Because of the small size and optical properties of the probes, a high degree of accuracy is not required. A coiled wire design extends the life of the probes. Plus, the shape of the probe can be modified to hold a variety of chemical solutions.
