Product Info for Oakley Currency Progressive Rx Eyeglasses

If originality was money, the Oakley Currency Progressive Rx Eyeglasses would be rolling in the dough. These Oakley Progressive Glasses integrate loads of technology together with custom-ground Oakley prescription lenses. The sculptural temple design incorporates the classic Oakley "O" logo into the design of the classic thick-rimmed frames. The Oakley Currency Rx Eyeglasses are built with titanium Twin Shock hinges that flex beyond their standard open position, to provide extra flexibility and to keep the temples from pressing too hard against your head. The Oakley Currency Progressive Power Eyeglasses - it's a whole bank's worth of innovation.

The Oakley Currency Progressive Prescription Eyeglasses come with Progressive lenses prepared to your precise prescription by Oakley's own in-house eyewear lab. Each lens has two corrective fields, an upper and lower field, with no visible line separating them, for a smooth, seamless look that's indistinguishable from standard eyeglasses. Your progressive lenses will come already installed in the frame, and with the precise geometry needed to fit perfectly into the Oakley frame.

Twin Shock temples:
- Durability - architecture is sturdier than conventional hinges because no springs are used. Instead, the mechanism is a solid component that takes advantage of a durable yet lightweight alloy of titanium, a premium metal that resists corrosion.
- Flexibility - the alloy is specifically formulated to be flexible. When you push an ordinary frame stem even a subtle distance beyond its normal open position, you risk breaking the hinge. With Oakley's new design, the stem simply springs back to where it should be.
- Comfort and fit. There is no inward pressure when the frame stems are in their normal open position. Subtle flexibility of the entire frame accommodates a wide range of head sizes.
