Can this rear plate be used on a carbine build......most of my parts for lower are blue on black receiver? Expert Answer

Has anyone experienced this back plate to spin, due to the fact that there’s no tab? Featured Answer

The end plate will not spin because the QD protrusion sets into the recess of the lower. The tabs are used to go into the buffer tube slot machined on the bottom to keep the buffer tube from spinning. If the buffer tube is threaded tightly into the lower and the castle nut appropriately torqued, you should not have a problem unless you unnecessarily twist/torque the stock! Just make sure the tube slot is aligned at the 180 position for proper stock orientation. I have other backplates with no tab and it hasn't been a problem, but they are bench guns and not prone to rough usage as a hunting gun!

Can’t go wrong with Odin products. Adds some nice flare to PCC along with extra functionality. Fit and finish is perfect which has always been the case with Odin product. A nice upgrade over the typical dull latch plate.

The back plate is very sturdy and high quality. Ther only thing I've noticed is it doesn't have the tab that keeps them from spinning. The finish is top notch. Thicker than most i have seen. I don't know what else to say about this back plate.
