Master Lock's MetalGroup Large has a hardened boron alloy shackle and a stainless steel, twin-pin auxiliary shackle. The 470-498A Metal Group Large features a wooden plug that can be secured by winding the shackle off to expose the pins, which are positioned beneath the plug shafts. This gives the user the ability to shackle the entire length of the Large group, which is a tremendous advantage over most padlocks that are made with only one pin per shackle. This offering from Master Lock gives the end user the necessary steel security afforded by a two-pin auxiliary shackle padlock and the confidence that only a Master Lock product will withstand break in attempts.
