Front lens of these riflescopes from Osprey Global are denoted by the last number in the scope description (i.e. 3-9x42 means the diameter of the front lens is 42 mm). The "power" of the denoted by the first series of numbers in the scope description. The power will bring an object in closer. The turret on this side of this Osprey riflescope will adjust the reticle from left to right allowing for wind conditions. The turret on top of the scope will adjust the reticle up and down allowing for bullet droppage. The dial numbered to demonstrate the range of power. Not present on a "fixed" scope.
