This tee features Tom Blakes original design for the Hollow Surfboard from 1926. This innovative blueprint transformed board building from heavy solid wood to lighter weight performance that could be created by any experienced craftsman. These plans appeared in the magazine Popular Mechanics so that anybody could make the board out of wood themselves, furthering the awareness of the popularity of surfing at the time.
