The PATRIOT OPTICS Operative 5-25x56 First Focal Plane Rifle Scope is designed for serious, technical, long-range precision rifle shootersboth tactical and competitive. The front focal plane reticle design allows the reticle size to increase or decrease as magnification is increased or decreased, and because of this, the trajectory compensation is always correct and proportional for the selected power setting; making tasks such as hold over and range estimation much easier.

The scope is also equipped with an easy-to-reach parallax adjustment knob that ranges from 10 meters to infinity providing improved accuracy at longer distances, and a fast focus eyepiece keeps everything in focus. Precision-gauged hand-fitted internal assemblies that are housed in a 34mm single piece tube manufactured out of T6 6061 aircraft grade aluminum, maintain a consistent point of impact through the entire magnification range. In addition, this scope is nitrogen purged, and O ring sealed, making it waterproof, and fog proof in the cold and rain, and features a shock rating of 1000gs.
