The Peregrine Shockeater recoil pad features a softer rubberized topside to reduce felt recoil as well as shock while absorbing the bottom for a smoother, quieter, and more accurate shot. The Shockeater pad also contains a proprietary ''rebound'' effect, which increases the shock energy of the felt recoil so that less muzzle flip occurs with faster follow up shots. A tough 8mm Ultra-soft shock absorbing material; designed to absorb felt recoil and shock while reducing muzzle rise with softer elastic material; provides secure and stable mounting without allowing the pad to move around on the stock; provides maximum forearm protection with minimum felt recoil; provides maximum effectiveness with minimum felt recoil; provides a smooth, even, controlled slide onto the stock; and minimal gun-shock; reduces recoil; and, includes a shock cord keeper to keep pad in place.
