After reading reviews, I was actually hoping for the three inch version but I got the six. Looks good and goes on well. Only issue is I had to cut three inches off to allow clearance for the charging handle!

The Phase 5 Weapon Systems Inc AR15 Pistol Buffer Tube Foam Pad is made from NPVC (also known as NBR or Nitrile), a durable material with good abrasion resistance and high tensile strength. The NPVC foam is resistant to oils and fuels, as well as the destructive effects of ozone and UV light. The temperature range of the foam in these AR15 Buffer Tubes is -20F to +220F. Fits 1.25in diameter buffer tubes on AR15 pistols. Pad length: 3.5in
