Yes, this buffer tube has the same internal dimension as a standard carbine tube. You will be able to use the super 42 spring and buffer.

I’m a Phase 5 fan and won’t hesitate to buy again but I should have looked at the reviews before purchasing this item. As others have stated it did not arrive as pictured with the with the “pistol” lettering

This buffer tube is perfect for my short barrel AR build. It looks great and is also very fuctional. The foam padding is perfect for maintaining a solid cheek weld while providing tons of comfort while shooting. Great product!
