The Pittman Sapphire Diaphram call is made of premium made in specialized factories latex. The diaphragm design of the call creates very clear high pitched notes that roll off the ends of the diaphragm, and out in between the notes. To create the turkey sounds, the middle of the diaphragm is made of a mylar material that is very brittle, about the consistency of nylon, and will allow you to produce very low sounds as low as you need. To create the higher note series, just add a little pressure with your thumb and you can make very high pitched hen vocalizations from the fly down to the soft cluck of the old hen. It takes a little more pressure to get a good sound out of this call, but when you need to you can always add more latex by simply adding more pressure to the end of the call. The Sapphire Series is a great call for anyone who is looking to make a very good gobbler call. This call should be on the top of your "To Buy" list! It includes a "2 Reed" tape version.
