This Portabrace camera case is thickly padded with high loft insulation material. The interior of the camera cover is lined with Mylar fabric to reflect heat back into the camera chamber. The PortaBrace Polar Mitten Jacket includes air activated warmers placed inside the case maintain interior temperatures; these heat packs keep battery, recorder, lens and hands warm. This camera case from Porta Brace has been tested at -50 degrees Fahrenheit! Two hand openings at the lens are enclosed with fleece cuffs for warm access. Suede leather handles make it comfortable to carry. Attached insulated lens hood protects the lens in transport. It also prevents condensation from forming when bringing Porta Brace Polar Mitten Camera Jacket in from the cold. The hood stores conveniently inside a pocket of the camera sleeve when shooting.
