Quality product & easy install! One minor gripe: The new mag release has a fair amount of back-and-forth play...any ideas on how to tighten that up?

Hi there. A little side to side movement is normal when a magazine is inserted. It ensures the mag catch is fully engaged with the magazine and not being limited by the magazine release. If this is not what you are seeking, please reach out to us directly and we can help you out.

Product Info for Powder River Precision Springfield XDS/XDSMod2 Magazine Releases

PRP Extended Magazine Release for XDS & XDS Mod.2 all models is designed to push straight in and not rotate as the button is depressed. It is extended .045" on the strong hand side. This makes for faster mag changes. On the weak hand side it is slightly shorter so that it sits flush with the side of the frame. This will help prevent inadvertent dropping of the mag while the pistol is holstered. CNC machined out of heat treated steel. Can be installed for right or left handed shooters. Available in Black or Stainless Steel.image
