Our LED tape lights turn on automatically when they detect motion up to 10 feet away and turn off 15 seconds after motion stops. Mounting the strip light section is as easy as peel and stick. Be sure you choose a clean smooth surface. Mounting options for the sensor/battery pack include magnetically to most smooth metal surfaces, magnetically to the included peel and stick metal disc and keyhole mounts (screws not included).
