These all-purpose masking tapes provide reliable performance in sterile lab environments. Favored by manufacturers of sterilization and detection equipment, masking tapes are essential for the sterilization of all latex and petroleum-based polymers. These specially designed masking tapes avoid breakage and leakage problems common to most masking tapes. Low adhesive quality assures that the masking tape will properly adhere to the labyrinth or other support structure. A special padding keeps the masking tape from deploying until the pressure is removed by removal from above. Then the masking tape can be removed, and the lapping tape can be reapplied. A special padding keeps the masking tape in place except when it is time for sterilization.
