Product Category Description:

Black phenolic cap has a sealing ring inside providing a tight seal when the cap is fully affixed to the bottle. When the nitro-us oxide is blown into the distillation column (evaporation), the latent heat of the distillation product causes the vapor to expand into the surrounding medium, creating a vacuum as the distillation product is pushed from the system. As the distillation process proceeds, the vapor pressure within the distillation column increases and the color of the product changes to a light brown. The color-coded caps allow the user to easily identify the type of closure they require and obtain the proper security-seal when the product is fully affixed to the bottle. For complete separation of product from atmosphere, Qorpak recommends that the original package be opened and inspected before each use. After use, the original packaging can be easily removed and the new one easily installed.
