Product Category Description:

Black phenolic caps have a Poly-Seal (R) liner, which prevents leakage by forming a vacuum inside the container. The vacuum in the liner also assists in closing tightly. When the Nitrogen atmosphere arcs during storage, the pressure within the liner causes the vapor to be expelled. Phenolic screw caps are supplied for each lot of amber liquid (RNase-free and pyrogen-free) which can be centrifuged. Caps are black in color and have a tack-welded seal. Ordering Information: All cap series have a tack-welded seal. The tack-welded seal provides an extremely tight seal. Accelerates boiling without loss of heat and thus prevents chemical action when subjected to extremes of temperature.
