These caps meet the needs of researchers who require secure sealing of culture tubes or screw-cap adapters for centrifugation applications. The high purity reagents are produced by a novel method using a unique salt-bridge catalyst. The reaction takes place in a liquid filled environment. Caps are assembled by hand, one at a time, using a traditional method. They are subsequently autoclaved to eliminate any residual liquid. Large-mouth caps have a broad based sealing ring which ensures tight sealing, and a small flange at the neck provides a tight seal. When the flange is positioned at the bottom of the neck, under vacuum, the flange at the bottom of the neck remain sealing.
