This wide-mouth jar is excellent for storing, dividing, or labeling. The wide-mouth design allows smooth pouring, and the jar can be inverted and sealed airtight using the flattest sealing rings or rubber bands. The neck finish provides a strong, yet constrained shape, and the wide-mouth design provides sufficient space for the addition of labeling or powders. The jars are transparent, making outside observation easy, and color-coding (one color, one size) allowing the user to color-code assorted colors for batching or mixing procedures. The neck finish provides a high level of chemical resistance to inorganic solvents, acids, and bases, and the wide octagonal shape provides a good grip when pouring. The wide base provides a strong, stable shape for the jars. Wide mouth design provides easy access to contents. The broad range of jar styles, neck finish colors, and base colors as well as the wide variety of jar materials makes it easy to color-code assort the jars to meet individual color requirements. Manufactured from seamless, high quality polypropylene these jars are crack resistant and will not split. The jars are supplied with a calibrated oratory QC lid as well as a calibrated grounding test mark in the base of the jar. The broad range of color codes allows for visual recognition of contents. A "U" symbol denotes a color change in the jars making color coded or color-coded caps.
