According to AAGIL's web site this should be TypeII 6.5 Grendel - there is a difference and the BCG should match the type of barrel.

I’m not sure I’ve heard of type 1 or 2. I have a 6.5 grendal you just need to buy that specific caliber bcg and mags. I does include a 6.5 barrel I’m assuming although the add never mentioned it or what length it is

The difference is in the early design of the Grendel round, Les Baer made what was known as the Type 1 round version to avoid a patent infringement suit. The originator or the Grendel round applied for SAAMI certification with the condition that he give up all patent rights to the Type II Grendel round
