Would this work on an AR15 and also a precision rifle? Look for something easy to swap out on both so I only have one rather than two

Assuming you have a picatinny rail, it will mount. Keep in mind that it is described as "shorter" for "easier ground shots" or something like that on the accu-tac website. Could pose challenges with larger capacity magazines therefore

No, it requires a picatinny attachment.
