Is this barrel able to be used on my S&W MP 15 and what if any other changes do I need to make I.E. charging handle or bolt carrier. — 3 Answers

This should fit a standard AR 15 lower and use the same BCG/CH, pretty sure that includes your S & W. - I dropped it onto my existing DPMS lower to check fit/action after assembly and then on an Aero Precision I built after that for test firing at the range. Any standard 5.56 BCG and CH should work as well, I dropped in an Aero Precision BCG and a Geissle super charger CH and it runs nicely. The smith told me that the only difference was the barrel, I had a brief concern about headspace with mixing these parts but then remembered that the cartridge is basically the same as 5.56 x 45 apart from having a larger neck. I'd recommend getting different color/style mags for 300 or clearly marking them since the mags are the same as 5.56 and very bad things happen when you mix those up.
