What happens if my scope is greater than 8X? Is there a thermal clip on product for scope up to 20X? I don't plan to shoot long shots at night!

If it is more than 8x it may look a bit pixelated, you may need under 8x to run with our thermal clip ons. You wont get too much distortion but itll be hard to identify

Can the retical be turned off? Concern would be interference with the reticle in the rifle scope considering this unit as a clip on.

This does not have a reticle, our website lists the reticles in error. It should be fixed shortly. I apologize for the confusion.
