It does require some modification to your rifle if you currently have a drop-in handguard, which the delta ring implies. You will have to remove the delta ring as well as the front sight in order to convert to a free float handguard.

I agree with what Roadcop said except: I took a cutoff wheel on a 4.5" grinder and cut my A2 front sight down to make it a low-profile gas block; you don't have to buy one. Cutting mine down worked fine for me. I used some gun blue liquid in a bottle (can't remember the name right now) after I used a flap disc on the grinder to smooth things over and it looked really neat and tidy. No need to go buy a new gas block, unless you want to keep your A2 front sight intact (why?).

Yes it will..You will need to swap out your barrel nut which is included..If you have an AR armorer's wrench it's a piece of cake. Just be sure you have a low profile gas block, (lower than the rail on your upper)
