I called Ameriglo with this same question and according them, the Gen5 slides have a different pitch/angle to them, so if you put a GL-201 on a gen5 it will consistently shoot higher than you are aiming. the GL-5201 is a different height than the GL-201 but it is not "suppressor height".

The heights and widths are exactly the same. Read many posts on guys using the Gen 1-4 sights on the 19x without any problems hitting POA. Of course Ameriglo would tell you they're not the same, but could be their way of making more sales. I dunno
