Are bayonet style "othalmic quality" and is there a "screw" where the lens frame attaches to the temple piece?

Yes, these frames are as high quality as prescription frames, and there are two screws that attach the temple piece for the frame.

difference between polarized lens and non polarized lens

Polarized lens help filter light out from glares while non polarized lens does not filter that light. And its much more noticeable.

The difference is how dark of lens you want and then also the color frame that comes with them.
