Update: I own and run with a Testudo vest. I personally run with the 11”x14” size of plates, Level III+ light weight multi-curved advanced “swimmers” cut steel and it is comfortable and effective. This vest fits both 10”x12” and 11”x14” sizes of plates and all the variety of features of those plates. My rig fits like a glove, has a generous adjustable hook & loop system, it is stable in all orientations in which I find myself, easy donning and doffing. I use the side plates too at times. Good value, high-quality,

the testudo will accept both size plates. the Testudo is meant for larger frame bodies but will still fit Med to XXL. I believe one major difference is the real estate room you have. hope that helps
