No. Please refer to the first question, "Will this fit an Aero Precision M5 lower?" Aero Precision is a DPMS pattern rifle. There are two distinct patterns for the larger caliber (7.62x.51 NATO, 6.5 Creedmoor) Armalite based designed rifles: 1) AR-10, and 2) DPMS LR-308. The AR-10 patterns fall to the Armalite (AR-10), Knights Armament (SR-25), and Daniel Defense (DD5) rifles to name a few. Most all the DPMS patterns fall to DPMS (LR-308), Aero Precision (M5), CMMG (MK3), etc. The two designs are incompatible. Perform an Internet search of the names above and see how the aft portion of the upper and lower receivers of each design are manufactured. Armalite Rifles (AR) [Eugene Stoner to be precise] designed/manufactured their first rifle in 7.62x.51 NATO before the AR-15/M-16 rifle. The structure of the rear portion of the receiver on the Armalite design is angular rising up to the threaded buffer support ring. On the DPMS design, that portion of the receiver is curved the same as the AR-15. Hope this helps explain the difference.
