will this work for ar15, 16in barrel chambered in 7.62x39

No this will not work with the 7.62x39 AR15 platform as it is designed for an AR10. Instead please use the SRS-H3 "arm253-h3".

No, this model only works with the AR-10/LR308 platform. There is a different model specifically made for the AR-9.
