The Astra Optix HBX1600B Laser 10x42mm Rangefinder Binoculars are covered by Astra Optix lifetime warranty. For specific warranty information I recommend contacting Astra Optix. In terms of how they compare to another brand such as the Vortex Fury HD 10x42 Rangefinder Binoculars is hard to say having not used them side by side. Both have very similar features and construction in terms of FOV and Interpupillary Distance. They both are shockproof, fogproof and waterproof. The Vortex Fury HD have a red illuminated reticle and range up to 1600 yards while the Astra Optix HBX1600B Laser 10x42mm Rangefinder Binoculars have a range of 1760 yards with a black reticle. Both Binoculars have angle compensation as well.
I recommend contacting the manufacturer to answer why the operating temperature of the Astra Optix HBX1600B Laser 10x42mm Rangefinder Binoculars is rated for 23 degrees.
