The Athlon Optics Ares 24x Spotting Scope Eye Pieces w/MRAD Reticle threads into the Athlon Spotting Scope. This allows the user to have an MRAD reticle while viewing targets.

This eyepiece seems to rotate 360 degrees even when it’s locked in. Is that suppose to happen? It’s got a visual nock line but no mechanical stop.

No, there is no mechanical stop. The eyepiece will align to the nock line.

The Ares 22x eyepiece is an accessory eyepiece purchased seperately for use on the Ares G2 15-45x spotting scope. It is a fixed magnification with a MIL ranging reticle.

This is actually a 22x eyepiece, incorrectly listed on Optics Planet. It is only compatible with the Ares G2 15-45X spotting scope.

This is a proprietary mounting pattern that only works with our spotting scopes.
