Athlon Optics website page for the Athlon Optics Cronus 10x50mm Laser Rangefinder Binoculars states that the Athlon Optics Cronus 10x50mm Laser Rangefinder Binoculars can range a deer from 5 yards to 800 yards and a reflective target out to 2000 yards. You are correct that the product specification sheet download on their website also states that the max range for a reflective target is 2600 yards and the max distance for a deer is 1000 yards. The reason Athlon Optics may state both is to account for variability in conditions that may effect the ranging capabilities. However, I recommend contacting Athlon Optics for clarification or email us at techsales@opticsplanet.com where can try to provide more information.
