This has an auto-off mode but can also be manually turned on and off.

New to optics, I just bought a Kel Tec Sub2000 gen 2. Can this be installed right away, no parts to add, can it co-witness the original iron sights.

Yes, this will mount to the rail on the forend of the Sub-2000 and should be lower 1/3rd co-witness with the stock iron sights.
