It won’t span between your two swivel studs, but I tapped and threaded a 10/32 with a #21 bit to have the same thread as the studs. I wound up drilling in front of the front stud and drilled between the two originals for the rear screw. It went into polymer in the front and into the aluminum chassis in the rear and I stopped before touching the barrel. Use a credit card type material for a buffer between your barrel and stock if you don’t want to take your stock off. Go slow, but deep enough for your screws not to strip out. I needed this length rail vs the short one for the Magpul bipods two cross bolts. A longer rail may have spanned the two original studs, but I wanted to keep it short if I was using the forward grip of the stock with my hand. Take the rail to a hardware store to get 10/32 domed screws that will be hidden and flush;)
