The ATN OTS LT 160 3-6x Thermal Viewer does not have an IR illuminator like a night vision device. The ATN OTS LT 160 3-6x Thermal Viewer cannot be rail mounted.

As of right now no there is no headgear mount for this. It is meant for handheld only.

The refresh rate of the ATN OTS LT 160 3-6x is 60Hz. It has black hot/white hot modes. It has a 10+ hour battery life and weighs 1.2lbs. It can detect humans up to 475m, recognize them up to 240m and identify them at 160m. ATN says it is weather resistant, operating temperatures are -20F to +120F. ATN has a really nice website for product comparisons.
