This particular model is using a Gen 2 White Phosphor tube. The other more expensive model is using a Gen 3 White Phosphor tube.

The model you selected here, PS31-WPT, does come with White Phosphorus Tubes, hence the WPT. Gen 2 tubes are not auto-gated. If you want a WPT autogated tube, please select PS31-3W.
