What kind of batteries does it take ? Does this scope adjust the redicol at the different ranges ?

It has internal batteries, so no additional batteries are needed. The scope includes a ballistic calculator, and with this feature enabled, once you range your target, the reticle automatically adjusts to correct the point of impact. This eliminates the need for holdover.
