According to the manufacturer the ATN X-Sight LTV 3-9x30mm Day/Night Hunting Rifle Scope's battery life is over 10 hours.

How does the illuminator mount to the scope or gun?

The scope includes 30mm rings with an integrated side rail for the IR illuminator. The illuminator can be mounted directly on the 30mm rings, or, if your setup includes an extended Picatinny rail, it can also be mounted on the rail.

I received mine last week, great during the day and late dusk but with the Illuminator supplied I cant see at night, suggestions ?

Please make sure to turn on Night Vision mode when using the device at night. The sensor requires Night Vision mode to be activated in order to detect IR light.

The effective range of the included IR illuminator at night is approximately 120 to 150 yards.

Why you think they are selling it so cheap.....its limited compared to whats new out there.....if it is capable of updates most likely have to plug up to pc would be my guess
