The Barnes Vor-Tx .45-70 Government 300gr TSX FN Rifle Cartridges will fire in the Cimarron 1874 Sharps Sporting chambered in 45-70 Govt. However, Cimarron Arms recommends certain ammunition not be fired in their firearms. For this reason I recommend contacting Cimarron Arms to confirm that your rifle can safely fire this 45-70 ammo without damaging the rifle.
