There are many factors to making the AR run smoothly.The first thing when considering buffers is what sized buffer tube do you have?If you have a carbine length tube, the H1 buffer should be fine for most standard configurations.The biggest concern should be your gas system.Most uppers are way over gassed to ensure reliability, but even a cheap adjustable gas block will allow you to make your AR super soft and smooth.
