The BR100 does not have a time limit; however, you need to keep the button pressed for continuous operation.

Does this unit offer a focus and what is the mw output and divergence?

Yes, it offer a focus. The output power of BR100 is 100mW, the divergence is 0.2mRad; The output power of BR400 is 400mW, the divergence is 0.2mRad. BR series is Class IIIB product with safety function, so they all meet FDA safety regulation.
