That is a padded shooting rail.

The height of the seat is going to be approximately 14.5 ft.

does the ladder entry come up thru the middle or the outside

The ladder is one of the "tripod" legs, and you will come up the ladder and enter from the outside of the platform.

What is the height to the platform

The height to the shooting rail is 16 ft., and the height of the seat is 20". Big Dog does not have the platform height listed, but doing a best estimate based on the info the do provide, you're probably looking at right around 13 ft. at the height of the platform.
