Hi,
Well, sap gloves, are a type of weapon used in hand to hand combat, so, in modern combat, the need to engage in hand-to-hand combat with the enemy, indicates that you spent all the ammunition in the handgun, smashed an empty rifle on the enemy’s head, used all your combat knives, and right now, you have to use your gloves.
Yes, they can be used that way:)
