In that type of gas block front sight, there is not enough room below the sight drum to allow for full downward elevation adjustments as you can get on a standard AK front sight. This sight post can be installed on these where the tip is in the center or higher in the front sight hood, but if you need a lower elevation of the tip in order to be sighted in, it can't adjust downward all the way.
