Most 2 inch chemical light emitting devices have a standard 4 year shelf life according to the factory. But personally I've seen them in all sizes and shapes last many years past the 4 year mark, I just cracked a 6 inch that expired in 2014 and it was just as bright as my 2022 expiration pack. The biggest thing is heat the hotter the storage temp the sooner they could expire but even then 4 years seems a bit short. Basically no matter how there stored they will work within that 4 year span and be at full brightness without question.
